The 2012 Bayswater Kids Duathlon will be held on Sunday, 25th November 2012
Now in its 17th year, this exciting duathlon (a combination of running and biking) is the premier event of its kind – and it’s heaps of fun. School age children (7-13 years) can enter as individuals or as a team of two. So pull on some shoes, jump on your bike, grab a buddy, and head our way!
Come along and meet Dean Barker, our official 2012 starter, enjoy some breakfast from one of our food stalls, and have a fun morning competing or supporting our amazing young athletes.

You’ll receive a cool official t-shirt on the day. Medals are awarded to first, second and third place getters in each age group (individual and team). You’re in to win major prizes - including brand new bikes - simply by entering.
Younger children needn't miss out on the day's fun! We are holding a Junior Event (run /obstacle course combination) run by Kelly Sports for 5/6 year olds.
Remember: Hedgehog Bikes in Takapuna offers free safety checks for competitors’ bikes and helmets in the fortnight before the race. Call Hedgehog on 489 6559 to book a time.
